Northern Cyprus is set to welcome its largest-ever extreme sports and motorsport complex with the launch of Heyecan Park, a landmark project announced by the Değirmenlik–Akıncılar Municipality.
Planned as a world-class facility, Heyecan Park will be built entirely with municipal funding and will span an impressive 303,000 square metres of land along the road connecting the villages of Akıncılar and Kırklar.
Once completed, it will become the most comprehensive technical and extreme sports centre in Northern Cyprus.

A Purpose-Built Motorsport Facility to International Standards
The Heyecan Park project has been designed in line with International Automobile Federation (FIA) standards, addressing a long-standing issue in Northern Cyprus: the need to move illegal street racing and unsafe driving behaviours into a controlled, professional environment.
By providing a certified venue for motorsport and driver training, the project aims not only to support sport but also to improve road safety and reduce traffic-related incidents across the country.

“It will not only be a race track, but also a modern leisure area where families, young people, and visitors to the region can spend time.”
This approach positions Heyecan Park as both a sports hub and a social destination, increasing its long-term value to residents and tourists alike.
