North Cyprus Consumer Price Index - June 2025

The Statistical Institute reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.42% in June 2025 compared to the previous month.
The six-month increase in the cost of living was 17.79%, and the annual increase of the index was 35.78% compared to June 2024.
Trends by main expenditure groups
The highest monthly increase was recorded in the category "Restaurants and Hotels" — 8.14%.
Changes in other categories:
Clothing and Footwear — increase of 5.18%;
Furniture, household appliances and maintenance services — 3.36%;
Miscellaneous goods and services — 2.83%;
Transport — 2.37%;
Education — 1.62%;
Health — 1.24%;
Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels — 1.20%;
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco — 0.50%;
Communication — increase of 0.16%;
Food and non-alcoholic beverages — decrease of 3.04%;
Recreation and culture — decrease of 0.32%.
